New Toy!

Well I finally broke down and admitted that it was time for my machine to go in for a cleaning. While there I wanted to take a peak at the embellishing machine that they offered. http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/us/11711.htm Like I really need this machine and for what? Much of what it does do I could do with my machine. The shop owner did point out one important fact...it's fun! My wonderful husband who never says no to me...and seriously my husband is wonderful...rolled his eyes and said "get it". So the toy is home and even he admitts that it's really cool. Here is my first real project. This is done from repurposed materials. The jacket is a failed embroidery design. I cut what I could off so that the inside would look neat. The husky design is the front of a sweater of the boys. Bought at the Gap and worn well. The white frame is yarn and that is actually new. I love the way this turned out.

The downside is needles are expensive and I seem to have issues with breaking. I think I need to slow down. Love the machine and I'm looking forward to creating some cute designs with it.
